![]() Last Friday, I went to see a preview movie, ¡ÈTristan und Isolde¡É at Kyoiku-Kaikan in Jinbo-cho, Tokyo. It was not a popular and expected film, so there were many vacant seats. However, "Tristan und Isolde" is one of the most popular stories in Western countries. It is said that the story was the model for Shakespeare's "Romeo and Juliet". Actually, I do not like Shakespeare's and the medieval history so much, and then I had hesitated to see the movie at first. But it was very interesting. I thought I was lucky to watch such a good movie. The story was not the same as the original one, but I prefer the movie story. I think the reason why it is similar to "Romeo and Juliet" is a hopeless love and a portion. However, the unrealistic love portion was not used in the film. The film is set in Cornwall, England. It is famous for its breathtaking scenery and a summer villa. ¡¡ |
