![]() I spent last evening at a shabu-shabu restaurant to entertain my German client. He had never had shabu- shabu before. There are a lot of Japanese restaurants in his hometown in Germany, but all are Sushi restaurants. He said that the reason why German people do not eat meat in the way of shabu-shabu was that there is no machine to slice meat so thinly in Germany. Speaking of Germany, when I visited a German company¡Çs office in Japan, I noticed that all the office equipments like tables and chairs were imported from Germany. They are all huge for Japanese people. When I sit on the chair at the meeting room, I found my heels could not reach the floor, though I am more than 180cm tall. (^_^;) ¡¡ |
