I expect that Digital Video Camera with a mini DV tape will disappear from shops in a few years. Aspect ratio 16:9 TV sets have been getting popular and now high-vision video cameras are selling a lot.

The problem is how I should back-up and preserve the movie data of mini DV tapes. If my DV camera breaks down, I won't be able to play the movie anymore.

One of the best ways is back-up the data into DVD. The quality level goes down. But there is no other way.
