I was so surprised to hear that the Dover Straits earthquake happened.

I did not imagine earthquakes sometimes occurred in such an area. The Channel Tunnel seems to be built to withstand earthquakes with a high magnitude.

But I think English houses are old and made of brick, so likely to collapse easily.
