Recently I was shown the Oath of Marriage.
It says, 1. Wife and husband always trust and respect each other. Yes, I agree. 2. We share the household chores. Yes, It's OK. No problem. 3. We promise to go out together hand in hand at least once a month. Ummm...OK. 4. We promise to go to Tokyo Disneyland at least once a year. Hahahahaha. Even at 50? It is OK. 5. When each of us wants to buy personal items which cost \20,000 or more, we need to obtain partner's approval. Sorry. I cannot promise that. 20 years ago, a song which featured a bossy husband was very popular in Japan. Husband declares to Wife the followings. 1. I have affaires. 2. You must not go to bed before I sleep. 3. I cannot protect family. If it is OK with you, it is OK with me. Now who accepts such a silly declare? ¡Ê¾Ð¡Ë ¡¡ |

LOL... (^o^) Definitely no one would accept that kind of silly conditions!!! This is really funny Nopooh, thanks for sharing.
Yes, no one would accept the conditions before marriage.
But many of Japanese wives are tolerant of such kind of facts for a finantial reason after marriage. They might be ready to divorce at husband's retirement age. hehehe. |
