When I was surfing on the Net, I felt the shake. At first, I thought I felt dizzy because I had a bad headache when I woke up, and had a medicine. But when I saw the TV monitor shaking, I was convinced that a big earthquake occurred somewhere far from Tokyo.

I write important things on pieces of paper, and I put them on the desk in order of importance. I find that most of them are not objects such as jewel. They are 絆Bonds, 縁Fate and 恩Favor. (It is very hard to explain it in English)

This evening, as soon as I got on the subway train and sat on the seat, I became aware that the train car smelled unpleasant. The bad smell reminded me of Western women in New York. I hear that Western people have more body odor than Asian people, so they put on stronger perfume.
By the way, some older men in their 50s in my office always wear cologne which is slightly sickening. Everybody says that it is for cleaning away age-related body odor. So I looked around in the train car, but I could not find any heavily made-up-face women. Instead, I found a young guy in his early 20s next to me was wearing a women’s strong perfume. I almost shouted, YOU ARE A JAPANESE MAN, AREN'T YOU? But I thought it might be popular among young men. What do you think of such men wearing a women's strong perfume? 特別に私が西洋の強い香水やコロンが嫌いだというのもありますが、男子大学生が強い香水をつけるのは、目的は一つで女性に好かれるためだと思うのですが、若い女性もそのような男性を好む時代になったということでしょうか・・。  |

As you can see the above article, young people have lost interest in cars. When I was younger, I used to ask and be asked often what kind of car you have. Certainly when men get married and have their children, they buy RV cars and lose interest in cars. For them a car is just a means of transportation. However, now young people also regard cars as a means of transportation. Even baseball and soccer are less popular than before. When I was a kid, my father used to watch baseball games on TV over drinks. But it is old-fashioned. Most young people may be now playing video games, surfing on the Net, or using mobile phones. 私が入社した３年目くらいのときに、１０歳くらい先輩の方から、「あなたって、打つ、買う？、飲むのいずれもしないんだね。一体何が楽しみなの？」と聞かれたことがあります。父親の世代以上ならともかくも、それを聞いて自分は「あなたってつまらない人ですね」、って心の中で思ってしまいました。楽しみがそれだけしかないのか・・・と思ったものです。私が入社した頃は、皆独身寮でお気に入りの車を持っていて休日は車でお出かけするが常でした。今の若者たちは、一層と趣味が多様化しているということなのでしょうね。野球もサッカー観戦も決して飽きられたわけではなくて、楽しむことの種類が多すぎて時々参加型となっているのでしょう。数百万円まとめて高い車にお金をつぎ込むのではなくて、いろんなものに分散して使いたいのかもしれませんね。 |

Summer drama series have just started. On weekdays I am so busy that I have little free time. I just check news on TV about 30 minutes every evening. But I like TV dramas, so I record some dramas and watch them on weekends. At each season I watch one or two TV dramas, although I only check the first episode of many dramas which I chose.
At this season, the problem is that there are so many dramas which I thought are interesting. In addition, all the first episodes were very interesting. I have no time to watch all the dramas. I am now thinking which dramas I should continue to watch. The TV dramas I checked this season are as follows: 「新マチベン」「ライフ」「花ざかりの君たちへ」「探偵学園Ｑ」「パパとムスメの７日間」「肩ごしの恋人」「山おんな壁おんな」 今週からは、「ファースト・キス」「ホタルノヒカリ」「女帝」「受験の神様」 今シーズンは特別で、春ドラマは初回チェックしたのは４つだけで、２回目以降見たのは１つだけでした。おふざけドラマは嫌いなのでつまらないものは３倍速で最初の１０分見ただけで消すのですが、今回はシリアス？なドラマが多く、全部最後まで見てしまいました。(^_^;) |

I went to see a Japanese movie KISARAGI.
There is a cinema complex near my house. Now Kisaragi is showing at the largest screen in the cine-com from morning to late night many times. It is the most popular movie now. I strongly recommend you to see this movie. 笑いと涙でいっぱいの映画です。見て損は絶対ありませんから。 |
